CIS (Computer Interface System) is a straight forward interface for programming and monitoring the controller from a computer. The program is designed to allow greenhouse growers access to their GHK12X2 greenhouse controller through use of a personal computer running Windows 95, 98 or XP. In addition to the ability to remotely access the existing functions of the controller, CIS also includes the capability to collect and store data, which will allow for detailed evaluation of the greenhouse's actual temperatures throughout the stages. Information can also be collected in a file for later viewing or graphing. The status screen will display the current settings and conditions for each greenhouse. CIS will also allow the user to monitor, at a glance, a maximum of 50 greenhouses simultaneously, by providing a display of all 50 greenhouse controllers' current status and temperature.

Here is a sample screen from the CIS program. It shows the current status and settings for Greenhouse 1.
You need a CIS Starter Kit (GHKCIS1). Each additional greenhouse controller that you connect to the network will require a CIS Kit (GHKCIS2). The starter kit includes CIS software on CD or 3.5" disks, an opto-isolated RS232 to RS485 converter, a modular cable (to connect from the computer to the greenhouse), a modular connector to install on the greenhouse, and a RS485 chip to install in the controller.
