Q. Why won't the vent cycle work when I try to manually start it?A. If the controller is in a cooling mode (i.e. the sepoint is below the current temperature and the cooling appliances are operating), the vent cycle will start and then shut off again.
Q. Why won't the fans run when the controller goes to NITE mode and the temperature is above the set point temperature??A. The controller could be in NITE Lock-out mode. To check the NITE Lock-out setting, press menu until "ntLo" is displayed. Press ENTER to see if NITE Lock-out is set to "on" or "off". Press any number key to toggle the setting. Press ENTER to save it.
Q. Where do I set the percentage settings for the vents on the RWL models?A. Using the toolbars from the top of the main menu, click on Status Menu, then Enter New Information, and then enter Proportional Information.
Q. Why does my data collection stop?A. Make sure the program is continuing to run after the data collection is started. The program may be minimized, but it must continue to run, to be able to communicate with the controllers in the greenhouse. Two ways to check information about the data collection process are these: (1) Checking the column titled "Data?" on the main screen. Greenhouses with data collection in progress should have a green background box and say "ON"; and (2) Checking on the status screen for an individual greenhouse. In the bottom lefthand corner, under the vent information box, there should be a message indicating to which filename the data is being written.
